MUCH MORE FROM FLYTAMPA - AREA 51 PROJECT AND MORE . . .

And it seems that developer FLYTAMPA has much more on the horizon for Simmers with a huge project detailing the infamous AREA 51 Base north of Las Vegas in Nevada.   The developer says that this will be much more than a scenery, with not only the Groom Lake airport itself, but mission-based operations and so more.   This is set to be a massive project, the likes of which possibly our hobby has not seen before.   And talking of Las Vegas, the developer has also said that there will be a totally new rebuilt from the ground up version coming up that will built to the highest quality.   Check out THIS page over at the FSELITE News page for more details or you can sign up to the developer's website and mailing list HERE  to stay ahead of developments.

FREEWARE DEVELOPER FLYBYWIRE ANNOUNCES NEW DIRECTION  . . .

Freeware aircraft developer FlyByWire (FBW) has announced a change of direction in their development, particularly with regard to their Airbus A2NX and the Airbus A380 projects.   Given that the new Flight Simulator 2024 is beginning to quickly move forward in development, it is now clear that releasing a single install for both Sim versions of their aircraft, is getting more and more difficult and a step-change is needed.   Thus, the Team are moving to a position where separate installers will become available in due course, to allow installation separately for MSFS2020 and MSFS2024, such that FBW can make use of the newer features in MSFS2024, while still retaining progress with the MSFS2020 versions of their products.   You can find out more about how the MSFS2024 Airbus A380  will progress, by looking at a Keynote preview video from the FSWeekend 2026, HERE
